CEU-ECTP European Register of Planning Experts

A service from CEU-ECTP

CEU-ECTP, the European Council bringing together associations of spatial planners from all over Europe, offers a unique service - a Register of Experts from across Europe specifically on planning issues. We offer access to the people with specialist expertise in meeting planning and environment challenges throughout Europe

Planning practitioners all over Europe are increasingly confronted with new challenges. Globalisation, environmental problems, accessibility of urbanised areas, immigration and social tensions, identity and cultural heritage, natural heritage, water management and climate change, all affect spatial development of cities and regions. Different European regulations and processes deal with these challenges differently and devising integrated approaches, balancing development with sustainability can be a problem. CEU-ECTP experts offer their knowledge, insight and experience in these issues to individuals and organisations all over Europe looking for guidance in these fields.

How to join the Register

Click here to download the online Application Form. When you have given the requisite information about yourself, your education and training and your areas of expertise and specialist knowledge, return it to us by email to secretariat@ceu-ectp.org with evidence of your credentials (a short CV/resume), and we will send you details of how to transfer the registration fee (see below). When we have your details they will be added to the Register and will be available to view on this website.

How much does it cost to put my profile on the Register?

The fee to join the Register is EUR 50 for young planners (those under 35 on the date of registration on the list) and EUR 200 for established practitioners. This fee entitles you to keep your profile on the Register for two calendar years from date of registration. Anyone joining during 2008 can stay on the Register until December 2010.
